Joe, Dolly, and Peter, property of Vincent Sandford

Georgia Journal, Madison, Georgia, December 8, 1828

GREENE Sheriff’s Sales.—On the first Tuesday in JANUARY next, will be sold at the courthouse in the town of Greenesborough, Greene county, within the usual hours of sale, the following property, to wit.

235 acres of land, adjoining lands of John Houghton and George W. Dillard, the date of said Mortgage, levied on as the property of Vincent Sandford, to satisfy a fi fa founded on the foreclosure of a Mortgage, Ebenezer Torrence, and Charles D. Stewart, for themselves and others, vs. said Sandford, also on the following, as the property of Vincent Sandford, to satisfy a fi fa between the same parties, founded on the foreclosure of a mortgage to wit Joe, a negro man, Dolly a woman, and Peter a boy also 5 mules, 1 day horse, 1 bay mare, 25 head of cattle, and 30 head of sheep. …
